Rob Watilo
Captitol Little League President

Rob made announcements and introductions.

He led the players in the:

Little League Pledge

I trust God
I love my country
And will respect its laws
I will play fair
And strive to win
But win or lose
I will always do my best

He then introduced the

2008 Capitol Little League
9-10 Year Old All-Star Team

District 3 Champions

The boys from that All-Star team
were introduced

and given a very enthusiastic round
of applause.

#26 Ian Saner!

There are over 500 players in the league this year.

The youngest player is 4 years old ~ Seth
The oldest player is 14 years old ~ Daniel

Here they both are with the Deputy Mayor of Tumwater.

Seth threw the ceremonial first pitch
of the season to Daniel.

Lining up for
the best part of the game:
the base race!

Oh ya.....the snack at the end is considered
the best part too!

Jackson waiting to be tagged

so he can run his leg

of the base race.

Loving that well-earned snack!

It's been a long day!
Jackson's pooped!

What a great day for baseball.
I'm so thankful the weather was sunny and warm.
